Yakitori chicken skewers

Quick and easy recipe!
Ingredients
1kg boneless skinless chicken thighs
Bunch of spring onions
Vegetable oil for cooking
Sesame seeds to serve
For the Yakitori Sauce
¼ cup sake or rice wine
¼ cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp mirin
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Method
Mix all the sauce ingredients together.
Cut the sping onions into 3cm batons and cut the chicken into 3cm cubes.
Marinade the chicken for 30 minutes in 2/3 of the sauce.
Put 3-4 pieces on skewers with the spring onion in between each piece.
These skewers can be cooked either under the grill, on a barbecue or in a heavy fry pan.
Drizzle with remaining sauce before serving and top with sesame seeds.
